Background

St John’s Church in Woodbridge has launched a new worship album. ‘Follow’ containing 8 fresh and original songs, written and performed by members of the church congregation.

Gillan Scott, one of the songwriters, describes the way the album came about. “At St John’s we have many talented musicians and singers who are passionate about serving and honouring God through worship. Recently we have felt God’s desire to take our creativity further in this area. We knew that some of the members of the church had written worship songs, and so an open invitation was put out for song submissions for an album. We had over 50 songs put forward, which was an amazing response. From these, eight were chosen to be professionally recorded.”

“We sincerely hope and pray that these songs of heartfelt praise will encourage those who hear them to pursue a deeper relationship with God.”
